The Story of Princess Elizabeth, by Anne Ring

This 14.5 x 20 cm hardcover book (no dust jacket) was published in 1930 by John Murray, Albemarle Street W. 127 pages, including several photos of the child princess who would go on to be Queen Elizabeth II. The last paragrapoh reads: “And so in these pages we leave Princess Elizabeth a sweet and lovable child of four-and-a-half years, standing on the brink of a wonderful future.” The book is definitely showing its age but still very readable and charming. A previous owner has left several newspaper clippings inside the front cover.
