Published in 1952 by Hutchinsons, this 16 x 23 cm hardcover book with no dust jacket is a 428 page illustrated history of archery in America with an additional appendix covering records in British archery up to 1951. The spine is partly faded and there is browning on the top edge of pages but otherwise very good condition. With technical details about the types of material used in making bows, arrows and strings, as well as information on arrow flight and how to shoot, this is an excellent resource for anyone interested in archery.
