Old Silver Grizzle the Badger, by Ernest Thompson Seton

This 14.5 x 19 cm hardcover book with no dust jacket was published by Hodder & Stoughton. There is no date in the publication details but a very similar book has a gift label inside the front cover from Toorak Preparatory Grammar School dated 1929. The title page tells us that the book contains “other stories from Wild Animal Ways, by Ernest Thompson Seton, Being the Personal Histories of The Squirrel, The Rabbits and their Habits, Bears, Bears of High and Low Degress, The Cute Coyote, The Prairie-Dog, Sneak-cats.” 128 pages, some line drawing illustrations. Something has been torn away from inside covers, and a previous owner has coloured-in an illustration on p47. Otherwise 128 pages fair condition.
