Charles Hopkins lived a very full life, from his early years in North Queensland to graduating as a doctor in Melbourne, then to Papua New Guinea, then London. When war broke out, he became a malariologist. This led him to several countries in the Middle East before returning to Britain, and then again to Australia. Lavishly illustrated with black and white photographs, this is an excellent condition hardcover of 305 pages.
