First published in 1959, this is a third edition (revised) by AH and AW Reed. Good condition hardcover book but dust jacket is somewhat faded and worn. 345 pages with almost 400 mostly black and white photographs. The book is organised alphabetically with “some 2,300 trees and shrubs described, some at length and some briefly, but all clearly and usefully.”
