Birds of Our Gardens, by Enid Blyton

Originally published in 1940, this fourth edition (1949) was published by George Newnes Limited. Hardcover (14 x 21 cm) with no dust jacket, the book is illustrated with line drawings and some photos. One previous owner has attempted to give the drawing of a robin on p26 a red breast. The book is showing normal signs of age such as browning on page edges but the pages are still very good. A delightful book for inquisitive, bird-loving children.
